COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Avicopter Plc is the flagship helicopter manufacturing arm of the state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), producing a wide range of civil and military helicopters. As the sole domestic manufacturer of medium and large helicopters in China, the company holds a virtual monopoly in the domestic aerospace sector. It is a prime beneficiary of China's military modernization and the expansion of its low-altitude civil aviation economy.
