Three New Markets: Thailand, Indonesia, and India Join the Ranked Universe

·3 min read

Three markets came onto the map this week: Thailand, Indonesia, and India. Every listed company in each one is now screened, scored on Quality, Value, and Momentum, and slotted into the StockRank alongside everything else. That takes coverage to 34 markets and more than 25,000 equities. Each market also has a monthly Best Stocks by Country page and, where the regulator publishes it, a live insider-dealing feed. Here is the short version.

Thailand · Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)

An index that has gone sideways for a decade, sitting on top of a layer of cash-generative mid caps at single-digit multiples. Refiners, industrial-estate developers, paint and steel makers, insurers. Six of the top ten names by StockRank trade under six times trailing earnings. Executives’ dealings stream daily from the Thai SEC’s public registers on the Thailand insider feed; buyback reports are the one piece not yet in it. Start with Best Thai Stocks.

Indonesia · Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)

Southeast Asia’s largest economy, and to most foreign investors a market of four banks. The screen disagrees: not one bank makes its top ten, which is coal, palm oil, tin, an industrial-estate developer, a power producer, and Heineken’s local brewer, with all three factor pillars firing at once. Director, commissioner and 5%-holder filings land on the Indonesia insider feed, the newest on the site and still filling in. Start with Best Indonesian Stocks.

India · National Stock Exchange (NSE)

The big one: 1,700 ranked companies, the largest addition since China. The NSE trades at a premium to every other emerging market we cover, and a sector-relative screen looks straight past the famous consumer and banking names to the refiners, chemical makers and component suppliers underneath. India also has one of Asia’s better disclosure regimes, and the India insider feed reads SEBI’s promoter and director filings daily, keeping open-market purchases apart from option grants and pledges. How to use it

All three are live now. The fastest way in is the ranked stocks screen: filter to a market, sort by StockRank, and read each name’s Quality, Value and Momentum breakdown on its scorecard. The three country pages carry a monthly top 25 with a stated data date and the market context you need to read it. Three more markets, same lens.
