COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Intrepid Potash is the largest producer of potassium chloride (potash) in the United States, operating solar evaporation mines in Utah and New Mexico. The company's solar mining process is significantly lower-cost and more environmentally friendly than traditional underground mining, providing a structural cost advantage. In addition to agricultural fertilizers, Intrepid supplies water and specialty minerals to the oil and gas industry in the Permian Basin, diversifying its revenue streams.
