Irish Residential Properties REIT, Ireland's largest private landlord, has confirmed a fifth takeover proposal from Barings at a possible offer of EUR 1.386 per share, which the board has said it is minded to recommend, subject to due diligence. With a board-backed cash price on the table, the upside for current shareholders is effectively capped at that level.
